Male coworker mentioned that we were alone in the room, why?

We used to always have at least 1 day a week where it would be just me and him in the office, now they've hired some more people it rarely ever happens.

Except it happened a couple of weeks ago and he said "it's like old times this, it being just me and you, it's nice isn't it".

I felt abit awkward to be honest. Why would he say this?

You should notify his superior. A guy shouldn't be making comments like that to a female co-worker.

@Asker I mean yeah that could be it but it's the bringing up the fact that you're alone is what's bugging me. If he wants to make conversation he could just talk. But I'm thinking he wants to try and get you on a naughty mindset of 'oo we're alone, meaning if we did something naughty, no one except us would know'
