What would you say is the common denominator to a woman who is always only getting stared at but never approached?

The most common would be that she is beautiful, but has her defenses up constantly and is signalling disinterest.

For example, when she catches your glance she looks bored and annoyed at the same time. This will thoroughly discourage any normal guy and it's just part of communication also to avoid embarrassment.

However, for some women it has become so automatic to deflect male attention that they start wondering why nobody approaches them. I think the secret is for them to be cold to most men, but approachable to those few that they select.

For clothes and make-up, great perfection can be intimidating, especially with dramatic colors. Most men will be more comfortable with feminine clothing that is not too much asking for attention and natural looking make-up.

It depends a bit on the type of man you want to attract, of course.

I get guys staring at me all the time. I managed to trap one guy who was staring at me into a conversation and asked him why he stared but never approached me. He stumbled with his words a bit before telling me that he fancied me but found me too intimidating by the way I carry myself.
