Is it true that American men are interested in foreign women visiting their country?

We all know the old typical "English guy goes to America and the women there love his accent."

I, a Dutchwoman🇳🇱 took time off to travel the world solo. When I reached the US (Hawaii and Florida), I hit the beach and guys were already checking me out. I am tall at 6ft, maybe they like tall girls? At Miami, I went to order drinks at an outdoor bar. I opened my mouth and my foreign voice turned the heads of some local guys. I am suddenly surrounded by 6 guys, not in a predatory way, just curious and intrigued. They were friendly and gentlemen, some asking about Europe and Netherlands in particular. Some people even bought me drinks.

Now the women there didn't care as much, I think some were jealous.

Yes, as an American man I am interested to foreign women. A foreign accent is kind of mysterious and exciting for me, and honestly I think foreign women are more cultured and I've heard, like on average, more educated too (like Americans can't seem to locate any other country besides the US on a map of the world). 🙂

Also sometimes foreign women have certain views on American men. I visited a nudist beach one time when I was in France and a woman asked me in English if I was from America. I asked her how she knew I was American and she told me she thought I might be because she noticed that my penis was circumcised. I didn't know that circumcision was that rare in other places, but I guess it is?

I haven't traveled enough in my life yet, but if I ever must be stuck in an airport for some hours again, let it be Schiphol, and I will fly on KLM whenever possible. Nicest airport and airline people ever!
