Because they are insecure, and jealousy helps them feel more secure. Getting attention from girls and worrying about her being loyal are signs that the man has a fragile ego that needs attention from others in order to feel fulfilled, and is insecure about her maybe leaving him for someone better.

Depends on the guy. Sometimes it's for atte tion, sometime to get a reaction out of you. If your man is feeling like you don't give him enough attention or respect he may wonder what your true feelings are.
