Why do girls try to make guys jealous?

I really think this girl likes me because she would stare at me with her eyes locked at me (very creepy though). Today she was surronded by many guys (guys love her Because she is hot) so I decided to get away then out of nowhere they came(her and her guy friend) IN FRONT OF ME starting to hug and she was kissing him very loudly I could hear (cheek or head) I don't know lol she was looking at me before and after that awkward moment.

Question: I know Girls do it to guys they like but WHY? What happens if a guy does this immature stunt to you?

Cause girls want to check if they mean something to a guy. Why would he get jealous if there were no feelings involved? Gives Reassurance - but is not really the right way to do it in my opinion. (Not sure if that girl really wanted to make you jealous though, there's a limit to that)

How do you know she was trying to make you jealous , It's probably all in your head . If she's kissing a guy in front of you , She wasn't thinking about you . I had to laugh at the creepy comment , Maybe she was wondering why you were starring at her.

So you wish it was just all in your head , Because you do or don't want it to be true . Question is do you like her , If so you need to tell her . But if it was the other way around , And I liked the guy . Of course I wouldn't want him doing that to me. I can tell when a guy is trying to make me jealous , And I don't understand the point .

Girls do this to guys they don't like. If I knew a guy liked me, and I didn't like him back, I would do everything possible to let him know that I'm not interested in him.

p.s. she probably stares at you like that because she's creeped out by you. But I could be wrong. Maybe some girls DO act like that in front of guys they like, but I certainly won't act like that in front of a guy I like, so from the way I am, I'm assuming that she DOESN'T like you, and thus you shouldn't be thinking she's trying to make you jealous. Instead, you should assume she doesn't like you lol
