Why would a guy go back to a girl that they had stood up?

I had a sneaky link that I had linked up with once. I had ended up cutting him off because he had stood me up. We rekindled the connection and then he had did it again. Then I had cut him off for a year. I rekindled the connection out of curiosity to see why he had wanted to hit me up. Instead he was acting like he didn’t do anything. Why the fuck would a guy do this?

I don't know, but he sounds like a total asshole. Who understands why assholes do the things they do? You should just forget about him, once and for all.
