Yes of course a guy who compliments a girl on the way she looks and her personality is not doing this to every girl. It is only a girl that he really likes and he wants to ask out on a date. I know because I have boyfriend now. Before this guy was my boyfriend he would give me compliments on my long hair is pretty and shiny looking, he would compliment me on my personality in telling me he loves my sense of humor and me caring about him. If a guy does compliment a girl often that means he is trying to tell her that he is interested in her in a serious way. All guys don't tell girls they don't like they will not give any girls compliments who they see these girls as just a friend.
