General opinions?

This guy l was talking to was asking me questions about me and was replying really fast and gave me compliments and thought he was interested. The texting only lasted a week and the good morning texts. Now he just went aloof out of the blue. He doesn’t reach out but if l message him about anything he does respond within a minute and we still follow each other on social media. Im not sure if he’s interested as went l do message him he likes my texts and he’s not dry he just doesn’t reach out.

Because it is all exciting in the beginning. Then things taper off. That is how it works. Some it comes faster than for others but eventually the excitement of a new prospect wears off. He is still texting and responding quickly so I wouldn't sweat it. If he didn't have an interest he could just ignore or block you. Instead he is still responding to ya. I would not overthink this too much. He could also just be busy this week and wasn't the last. Any number of reasons things have changed.
