This guy l ran into in person a couple of times, l was too nervous to say something to him and l regret it. We both follow each other on Insta, in the past he did react to my posts and l really want to talk to him. I’m not sure what to say. I can say hey, how are you and he would say lm good how are you. Im not sure what to say after that though to not seem too intense. I want to ask about his interests and get to know him. Does anyone know what l could say so it doesn’t sound too in his face but subtle instead.

I think you kinda answered your own question there. I agree that you can start out with the hey what's up type of thing. Then you can ask about his interests. Since you both follow each other on social media you can take a look through his stuff and find some things he seems to be interested in. Use that as a conversation starter. Let's say there are a bunch of pics of him mountain biking for example. Use that to start a conversation and learn more about him. "Hey I noticed you are really into biking. I like to casually but never tried mountain biking..." Something like that for example. Then just keep the convo going. Have a few things in mind so when the conversation goes a little cold you can bring something new up.

Oh yea that’s a good idea, he has mirror pics and selfies of himself on his Insta. His page is pretty plain tbh. There’s not much I can say.
