General thoughts?

This guy I contacted l know he was hurt before but lm not sure of his interest. In person he smiles at me and is near me and looks at me. But over text He doesn’t text unless l text him first. His replies are not dry, very expressive with emojis. Im not sure if l should continue talking as it’s mainly me leading the conversation he doesn't ask much about me but just replies to me. He just asked once what l do for work out of the whole conversation.
Is he interested or just being nice replying?

I think one thing that’s important to keep in mind when you decide to pursue in someone is that just because it’s the right time for you, doesn’t always mean that it is for them. Same goes for being emotionally available, maybe you are but he isn’t.


From what I read, you are the one who keeps initiating every conversation, which comes off like you’re chasing him, ignoring the signs, or both. I don’t think he’s interested in pursuing what you’re interested in pursuing, and probably only responds because he doesn’t want confrontation since he sees you in person. If you really wanna gauge his interest, see what happens when you aren’t always the one to reach out. If you already feel like you wouldn’t from him if you weren’t starting up each conversation then you have your answer as to where he stands.
