I was a good father but the court didn't see it that way cause I'm a man and all men are automatically assumed a dead beat dad. I fought for them for 2 years but weren't given to me for something stupid my ex wife did. We were divorced already. I had absolutely nothing to do with it. I was out of town working. I have no history of being abusive. Just cause I'm a man and a man can't raise a child. 9 years have passed and my daughter found me and we r trying to make up for the time my daughter and son and I lost. I didn't believe in holidays and the holidays were actually traumatic for me and my kids as they later told me. Not all fathers are dead beats. I even called on child support on myself to make sure my kids were being taken care of wherever they were. I would give my life without hesitation for them. It's sad the court wouldn't even give me a chance to prove I was a good father. Those 9 years were so sad and lonely. But thanks to my daughter as soon as she was able to look for me she found me..

Probably not. I enjoy quiet and solitude enough that I imagine I would be subconsciously resentful at its loss.

I think I did okay. It probably was mostly my wife that was responsible for how well my kids turned out.

I'd like to think so, but I'm forgetful and so used to being solitary, I would have a difficult time doing everything that a dad should.
