so my ex and I dated for 3 years and broke up bc we couldn’t do long distance anymore. Both us of kept in contact after a year of no contact and were friends with benefits, just after a few months I told him we can no longer be friends with benefits bc I’ve been dating this new guy and things between us are going really well after about 2 weeks he deletes his instagram. why?

Better question is why do you care? Maybe he did it because he wasn't using it as much. Maybe he just didn't like it anymore. Maybe people he was friends with slowly slowed usaged. Maybe... you get the picture. There could be any number of reasons why he did it. Just because you're dating someone new likely has nothing to do with it. He is an ex. You are dating someone now. Why does it even matter and what impact of him deleting it have on your life? Did you want to keep tabs on him or something?
