So I started talking to this guy a week ago and today I we were talking and giving everything was good and then I responded to texts he had sent me asking him something. Then after i said I’d text him when I was done with his meeting because we were texting back and fourth. But when I sent this text he didn’t open the message and only opened it hours later and didn’t respond to it. Next thing he posted on his Snapchat. Was I suppose to send him a text saying I was done? It kind of feels desperate for me to do that because he never responded to my previous texts of saying we’d speak later

You told him you would text him when your meeting was finished. That does not require a response. How is it desperate to send a text that YOU said you would send? Come on really?

That's a tough one to answer. That could have been what he was expecting. In any case I don't think it would have seemed desperate if had messaged him.
