Females think emotionally and about everything all at once in my humble experience. The female brain evolved to be quicker not smarter but processes faster (I mean females did evolve right next to the most dangerous animal on the planet. A hairless , thinking, carnivorous, often violent ape. ) so it behooved the female to be a quick thinker.
Men think logically and usually focus on one task at a time. Females often read things into male behavior that do not apply, because we don’t think the way females do.
The reason for this is because life presents a different set of challenges and biochemical differences and brain development between the sexes as in those born with a penis and those born with a vulva and vagina. A female is born with her worth. A man must find his place in the world or die and no one will care if he doesn’t find it. He will just be dubbed a failure and written off or in modern society they often end up imprisoned and made a slave in the USA. In the penal system. (Yes slavery is alive and well and constitutionally protected. If you get in legal trouble in the USA you can be arrested and enslaved under the constitution. )

    General thought difference

Men: X happened because of Y

    Women: X means something

    Example:

Man: I was late (x) because of traffic (y)

Woman: if you cared you would be on time
(Being late (x) means you don't care)

a lot of male female disagreements come from this fundamental difference and why girls tend to be more accusatory of what men think/feel. Girls often view men as broken women and believe if men just thought like women everything would be perfect.

While men tend to accept the fact that girls are girls and that girls think differently because they're girls. While girls tend to think a man thinking differently means something lol

a lot of girls genuinely believe "if you were smart you would think like me", "if you cared you would feel the way I do", "if you were not an asshole you would agree with me"

I think that, generally, they think more logically than women. In other words, they can work out why something isn't working, for example, by a series of thoughts processes, whereas I will just press every button and hope for the best

WARNING: The following are generalizations. They are not true of 100% of men or women, but they are generally very true.

Men are problem solvers; women are emotionally reactive. Men think pragmatically; women overthink. This is closely related to the notion that "women are better multi-taskers". The flip side of that coin is that women are less able to be laser-focused on the critical tasks required to solve a problem, to the exclusion of the minutia that cloud judgment.

We all know this instinctively, which is why there is "sexism" in corporate leadership, politics and anyplace where leaders need to be able to make critical, unemotional decisions with huge consequences for a lot of people. Both men and women favor men in those roles for the reasons outlined above. Some people call that sexism while others see it as the reality of human nature.

Idealism is an emotional construct, and reality trumps idealism every time.

From my personal experience in general we don't overthink as much on the same things. A lot of women look for a meaning that isn't there. I am poorly articulating this so bare with me. For example if my s/o was making food and offered me some I said I'm not hungry she would think maybe I don't like her cooking instead of going off of what I said she makes her own conclusion.

Try this analogy: Picture a map with a destination marked. The man will take the most direct route. The woman will take a route that has about a dozen stops on the way.

iirc that video just explains that women think about everything all the time whereas men focus on one thing at a time as if they are completing tasks sequentially which is why if you want a man to get something done then you should ask him at least twice

Honest, blunt, and straightforward. We say what we mean and mean what we say. So, the total opposite of women.

Men are usually more open. They generally will be honest regarding their feelings and views when they talk about them. If a guy says that there's nothing wrong, he probably means it.
