I guess a lot will depend on the context and whatnot. Like is that something he does in a flirty sort of way poking fun or does it come off as mean and cold? It will really depend on how he means it and I have no way of knowing that. I would not look at one singular thing and base whether he likes you or not over it. There will certainly be other signs if he likes you. You have to look at the overall picture and not one little thing to know for sure. It is an odd thing to say though jokingly. Easily taken the wrong way.

I think he's trying to be playful. Kinda like if he said, "have a good night, stinky". He may not think you're really an idiot, or stinky. Just a playful tease, unless he does this with everyone. But if he actually makes fun of your intelligence constantly, I wouldn't take it as flirting.
