Some people are just like that. He could be attracted to you, or maybe he is not. If it continues to happen and it makes you uncomfortable, id back away or say something politely. If you’re asking this question because you like the guy, see if he does anything more than just standing close to you.

Maybe. How is he around other people? If he's willing to stand close to one person and not anyone else, he's probably at least pretty comfortable around her.

Because just like some women to some men, to some men every woman is a game. Some guys would do that to any woman they think they could get a reaction from. It's the equivalent of a woman who flirts with every guy just to get a rise out of him.
