Guys, when it comes to a crush, how can you tell if he is shy or just uninterested?

My crush used to look/stare at me a lot but now its becoming less and less frequent. Sometimes it feels like he is losing interest but other times it feels like he is just shy. How can I tell the difference?

You know trying to guess is a waste of time. If he isn't approaching you then you can do three things. 1) do nothing (like you have been) and hope he approaches you. 2) let him know you are interested (this requires more than just staring) and then hope he approaches. 3) Approach him.

Why are you scared to approach. I wish you knew how rejection the average takes, and girls won't even expose themselves to the CHANCE of rejection, much less face it. It's a joke.

Confident girls will but me on the other hand, no. I'm way too insecure about myself to get the courage to go up to someone, especially someone who's always surrounded by people. I know it sounds stupid but I'm just not that brave. Also it's not very fair to assume that ALL girls are like that. Shit, you don't know what some of these girls are going through and I know guys go through the same battles. So take it easy man.

I'm too insecure to make a. I've showed him in other ways that I'm interested in him but no luck. Some days it feels like the spark is coming back but other days it's back to square one. I'm not sure if I should move on or keep hope. Any advice?
