On our first date with this girl we saw her friend and she told him that I'm her guy... What did he mean?

I refer to some of my close friends that way. "this is my girl Sarah" or "this is my guy Michael" instead of "this is my friend Chris"

I don't think if refer to any s/o that way. I use words like "this is my man Michael", "this is my woman Sarah" or "this is my partner Chris".

Personally would've introduced you as "my date..."

I wouldn't put a whole lot of anything on what she said to a friend. You have no idea what kind of friend this was or why she used that reference. Maybe he was someone who was trying to date her and she was putting him off.

Best thing to do is to ask this person if you're worried about the reference's meaning. As in, too much, too soon.
