Why won’t this guy talk to anyone who he doesn’t find hot?

Basically, I know this guy and he’s kinda popular. I tried reaching out to get to know him better because I kind of have a crush on him. So I sent him some messages (not all at once and not even that many) and he won’t even acknowledge me. But I recently learned of this girl who’s like 15 years younger than him who just showed up in the same space I’m in and he IMMEDIATELY messaged her and it was leaked that they’ve been talking after she posted a selfie. I noticed that he only talks to girls if they’ve won the genetic lottery basically. He won’t talk to anyone he doesn’t think is hot. Is he really so shallow that he won’t give anyone who isn’t a 10/10 and closer to his age a chance?

Well, if only physical beauty matters to him and nothing else then indeed he is shallow in this thinking.

That being said, it is not at all wrong if his standards/list includes the woman to be physically gorgeous, beautiful with a toned physique. Men are visual creatures after all, for a man a woman has to be beautiful/gorgeous. However, the definition of beautiful and gorgeous can vary for each guy. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder so it depends on what he sees as a woman who is physically gorgeous according to him.

However, ignoring the personality aspect and qualities entirely is an indication of shallow thinking.

I mean it's the equivalent of me saying, "why does Scarlett Johansson only date rich, and famous people"... well yeah, she's Scarlett Johansson. She's got it like that. She can date whoever she wants for whatever reason she wants. An who am I rto question her motives for doing it?

The thing you need to keep in mind is just because Scarlett can date whoever she likes. Does not make her dates quality. All the money in the world will not make a person truly love and care about you.

So what I'm saying is why care about this guy? Just roll your eyes and move on.

Same reason a lot of women only talk to men w money, because they can. Regardless of him being shallow or not he’s not interested in you, time to move on.
