The guy I've been seeing and talking for about a month hasn't texted me in about 24hrs and left me on read from the previous night.. He's visiting family/friends back home where he's from (2 hours away) and we texted for a tiny bit on Wednesday but he left me on read (has Read receipts on) Wednesday PM which I completely understand because I knew he was attending a show with his friend back home that night BUT he hasn't texted me all day Thursday.
I'm feeling anxious and overthinking - is he losing interest or simply just busy spending time with friends/family?
I know he's coming back Saturday morning but he'll probably go straight to sleep since he has work in the evening (he's a cop) so I'm not sure when to expect a text but I really like the guy and I haven't reached out since I was left on read because I figure I give him some space to enjoy his little vacation. Help?

If you care that much / it bothers you that much. Call him. If he's busy he can always just not pick up, right? I read messages all the time while I'm doing something but can't respond (making bread for instance). Have raw chicken on my hands. Then I forget to respond or get busy with something else. Or my phone dies before I can respond. Or a dozen other things. Call him, that way you're not stressing over it, you may get to talk to him, it's win win.
Ye maybe give him some space to enjoy his vacation n maybe say something like "I hope u enjoy ur vacation!" I've said it to guys before n they appreciated it a lot. But maybe u can wait until the vacation is over n ask him if he's doing okay and why he ignored ur text?
