That's a tricky situation. On one hand, it's good you turned him down since he's still married - that could only lead to drama. But now him ignoring you totally sucks.

My guess is it's probably awkward for him since he put himself out there and got shot down. Us guys can have big egos sometimes, even when we're in the wrong.

I don't think your friendship has to be ruined though. Maybe give him some space to chill out for a bit, but then try reaching out one more time just to clear the air. Reassure him it's not personal and you still value his friendship.

Once some time has passed, hopefully he'll come around. True friends are hard to come by. If he's still being weird after that though, then at least you tried and can move on knowing you took the high road. Just don't burn any bridges if you don't have to. Good luck tho, hope it works out!
