Compete, constantly work on yourself to better your life and have the best circumstances. Compete for the best girl and house etc…

This question is so subjective because it totally depends on what you want in life. Some guys will choose to go for it all and enjoy the fruits of their labor. To them that is living the life. Others are gonna decide that just kicking back and enjoying life without all the hard work is the route for them. Maybe they don't fancy material things nor care about them. So this will be totally dependent on the person and their goals in life. There is no one size fits all.

Not for women. Their life goal is to have kids and nurture and look after the family. It’s the best thing they can do for the world

Sure if you make enough money to raise a family and have her as a stay home mom.

Many can’t afford that.

By the time kids go to school.. women can go back to work for the health for herself (to connect with the society) be able to give the love, encouragement to her kids.
Both parents work and make enough money to have a nanny by then and have family meals together while the maid does all other household stuff.

Even after being married, still compete to be the best wife/husband. To treat each other with love and respect…and enjoy life since both have made a beautiful family together.
