Even among Muslims, 4 wives limit is there to ensure he married them and they and their children have share in inheritance except divorce. And he is supposed to treat them fairly and God warns that for man it's harder to be fair. So, it's not encouraged to keep multiple wives.
And certainly a believing servant woman is superior to a good looks woman. So, the marriage should not be out of lust

  In other countries where you can marry others , this is the rule of thumb. If a man can’t offer them all the same desires in life, he doesn’t get the 3 wives.

  But all three wives are not clones. And when a woman doesn't think she is being treated fairly this way she can of course walk out and separate from the spouse.

  Oh I’m not saying everyone is meant for poly, I think even people that claim to be poly aren’t even built for poly relationships lol a lot of people don’t even realize what poly means. Poly doesn’t mean you are having the life of the party and flirting / fucking everyone in sight, I means you are catering to more than one person because you believe it takes more than two people to be able to keep things solid.

  Having multiple wives is better than cheating. This way each wife and the children get a share in inheritance and it removes the stigma of open relationship where the man keeps hooking up and so he knows he has 2-3-4 wives and he should keep them as responsibility.
