Why did my boyfriend reject me for sex?

We were cuddling in bed and watching tv. I am a bit sick but on antibiotics. We started sexually touching each other and I asked him should we have sex? He looks at the clock and tried to say it was late. I feel like sex has been less and less lately. But why would a guy rub on you sexual than say no. for sex? Like why pre heat the oven but never bake cookies? Any advice is appreciated.

What are you sick with? If my partner was sick with say, the flu or something else nasty, I would still cuddle him and maybe feel him up a little but sex itself would be a no-go.

Sinus infections are pretty nasty, I’d say he just wants you to focus on resting up and not exhausting yourself. Sex can take a lot of energy out of you.
