But now a year later I see that’s not good ant all. None of my hard work mattered at all and was a complete waste I’m thinking I’d ever be appreciated or move up AT ALL. bottom line if someone doesn’t want to know you personally it’s 99% likely it’s because they want to dehumanize you. It’s easier and quicker for their hateful brains to do so if they don’t have to get to know you. They might risk EMPATHIZING with you if they got to know you even in the slightest.

I mean its no secret that social networking matters as much as putting in good work, if you seek promotion. Maybe something to take with you to the next employer.

Just yesterday a guy came over and helped me fixing my car. Doubt he would have done that if I wouldn't go out of my way to talk with him when I see him, ask how he is and so on. Same with collagues on the job, I show that I care, offer help and get helped in return. I dont have to like them to be nice to them, its just beeing polite.
