Guy hanging out with ex?

So recently my crush has been hanging out a lot with his ex girlfriend. They broke up about 5 years ago in high school and we are all in college together. Him and his ex live right across the street from each other in different dorm buildings. I have both of their locations because I am friends with each of them but we never hang out with the three of us. I don’t even think he knows I have his exs location. Lately it seems that they hang out all the time day or night. I want to know if this means he’s trying to get back with her? He will hang out with her but also at the same time he’s hanging out with her he will text me and ask me to hook up with him or ask me to send him photos of myself. I’m just so confused. I thought he was starting to like me but now his ex is back in the picture.

Hate to break this news but he isn't a guy who wants to be with you long term

He is mainly using you for sexual pleasure and that's it. He might have physical attraction to you both but he definitely doesn't see you as relationship material, and neither does he see his ex in that way.

If a guy is interested in getting married with a girl in the long term he isn't 'spinning plates' this is a huge red flag and I wouldn't send him any more private pictures before they end up on the internet. (Yes some guys do this after they are done with a girl, and if a guy knows this is online from a girl your future chances with guys will be hugely reduced).
