Why some men are so ungrateful?

Imagine a guy who had nothing, not even a roof on his end. You be with him through all, till he life gets better then he starts to treat you like shit. You break up with him because you know you deserve better. He goes to date another chick who looks glamorous i must say, but this guy who never posted me on his story, a girl he just met like weeks and he goes to post her and write one of kind.

Would that girl want her when he had nothing? Its really frustrating how you give someone your all and he just don't value you. Anyway i wanted to vent honest.

That's why I don't spend too much on dates until we get together. There was a question earlier this week simply asking "How do you feel about drinks for dates?". I said that if she is not okay with drinks for dates, it's a red flag. A bit extreme and a girl replied. So that gave me the chance to explain: So what I mean is...

If she needs more than drinks to bond with someone (Her words: what if she needs more than alcohol to bond with someone?), I don't think you're here to actually bond but for free stuff, more drinks, a free meal. If you're actually interested, you don't need all that, just each other's company. So I said this and it's been a few days, still didn't get a reply from her since then.

I won't go all until we're actually in a relationship. I'm looking for a long term relationship, wedding, yeah actually not afraid of marriage. I'm looking for somebody who's willing to ride or die with me pretty much like you, but we both have got to earn that. We can't give it up for just anyone.

That's pretty much modern dating to a "T." Just a never ending cycle of being unvalued by people who don't seem to realize that they don't have anything better going on.

Well unfortunately some men like to use women. You were kind staying with him and being a shoulder for him to cry on, but he took advantage of you. I hope in the future people are nicer to you.

Lots of people these days are ungrateful and entitled, it's a common problem that is not based on gender.

I broke up with him because he wasn't treating me right to the point it was not giving peace. I loved him but i still left him n i don't regret but it is sad how he didn't appreciate or love me despite all i did for him. Thats all.

Am not saying women are saints but most guys complains so much that women r gold diggers and they never want a broke person. I don't care about that, n i was so supportive of him when he was so negative, almost suicidal but look what he did to me. N now he is well off he goes to find another woman who wouldn't look his way if he was like bfr. Anyways i was true to him n god knows that so i leave the rest to him. One day i will find a good man who will love, appreciate n value me sincerely
