Would you ghost someone in this situation?

Hi guys, i was talking with this guy for like a month. I was personally going through a lot at this time because my ex was stalking me. Me and the other guy clicked pretty well. Our last conversasion was about my ex. I told him that he hacked my phone. And that he came to my home unannounced. After that conversation he ghosted me for a few days and then came back. My friends told me that I didn't have to mention my ex. What do you guys think?
