A guy made an odd comment at my wedding?

I was chatting with one of my male colleagues on my wedding day.

A random couple came to speak to me and they presumed he was my husband.

A few hours later, when I was with said colleague, I was telling another friend about what happened and that someone mistook the male colleague for my husband.

The male colleague then said “I should be so lucky”

Is that an odd thing to say?

I think it's probably a reflexive compliment to you on your big day. He probably doesn't mean anything by it, and if it seems as you continue on at work that it wasn't a one off thing, then you need to draw a clear boundary with him.
