So my boyfriend and me were talking and laughing and told me he he doesn’t want to joke around with me because he will make me cry. So I asked him why he would say that and then my boyfriend tells me I’m “ugly on the inside and outside but I’ve only been on the inside” so I asked him what that meant and he wouldn’t explain so I hung up on him and he did not call me back he only text me goodnight and he loved me

I doubt he meant it, evidenced by his follow-up text. My guess is that he was testing his theory that a joke would make you cry, and his uncaring/unthinking joke made you mad... it may have made you cry too.

We guys sometimes do really stupid things... like this guy did. Don't hold it against him, unless he does it all the time.
