My boyfriend doesn’t trust me or men?

So basically my boyfriend says he trusts me but he doesn’t trust guys I’m around when I go to gathering or a friends house that has guys there or any opposite gender I can’t be around without him? Is that controlling he said that he just doesn’t trust dudes cause he thinks they will try to do something but the thing is I trust him idc if he hangs out with friends and there a girl becus I know he wouldn’t do anything with them.

He doesn’t trust you, and doesn’t trust what might happen, and he’s afraid to admit it. I’ve managed to get several men to admit that’s what that comment REALLY means. Guys like this are just going to have to get used to the fact that yeah, we’re hit on all the time and there’s no way to stop it.
Insecure guys will want to keep you away from your options better than him, which is what I suspect he’s doing. It’s important to let him know he’s not in charge here.
