Why soes my boyfriend wanna know where my friend lives?

Basically I was chilling at my friends house and my boyfriend texted me where I was at and I said my friends house and he thought I was talking about another friend but I explained that that was a different friend and so he asked me where my friend lives at after I told him I was gonna walk home ("no he was not trying to pick me up").
