Uh what is a toothpaste photo? Also you are in your thirties and can't ask him what it meant? He is after all YOUR boyfriend. Surely you have a conversation or two once in a while. Why not text him back what the hell is with the picture if you are so curious? We can't read minds or people's intentions any better than you can which is why you are asking the question I am guessing. Be an adult and communicate with your boyfriend instead of asking strangers if that is normal behavior for him. Maybe it is. Maybe it isn't.
