Do you think aggressive people ever change?

My boyfriend said he used to fight a lot, he broke glass bottle on someones head because he touched his ex, he had baseball bat in his car, he set on fire someones moto, he closed a guys hand in his car and drove with his running... he hurt his hand while punching walls when got angry with his ex ("for not hitting her")... and large etc.

And i date him for nearly 3 years amd i never saw him angry with me.

Im very surpries did he actually change with me or he is just a good actor
