Quality time basically means spending focused, meaningful time together without distractions. It's not just hanging out in the same room on your phones or watching TV, but actually interacting, talking, and giving each other your full attention.
A few reasons your boyfriend may be asking for more quality time:
- He feels you've both been busy/distracted lately and he misses that real connection you get from undivided attention on each other.
- Maybe he wants to deepen your relationship and feel more intimate through quality conversations rather than just casual hangouts.
- It could be he's feeling taken for granted or that the relationship is getting routine, so quality time is a way to spice things up.
I wouldn't be too concerned since it's the first time he's mentioned it after 2 years together. Sounds like things are probably good overall if this is the only issue. Just make more of an effort to schedule dates where you really focus on each other, like cooking together, going out somewhere just the two of you, etc. Quality over quantity is what will keep the romance alive!
probably since you said first one could be the answer
we went to bar while drinking beer he was staring at me and said "beautiful" like deep stare and deep voice was very cute
then we went home and he started to grope me and its when he got a bit horny and said he watns to spend some quality time with me and not running around and just spend tiem as we did this summer in Mallorca,
Spain. the best holidays ever.
then we had sex but again a bit in a hurry not 100% relaxed because i had to give him a lift for his company dinner
so again couldnt properly cuddle or stay in bed enjoying ourselves
Hmm okay, with that additional context it does sound like when he said he wants more quality time, he may have been hinting at being more intimate. Calling you beautiful in that deep voice and then things getting a bit heated definitely points in that direction.
Guys can get distracted by other things like work obligations too, so it makes sense he wasn't fully in the moment since you had to leave for his dinner. I think what he's getting at is wanting nights where you can really connect without anything else getting in the way.
Those summer holidays in Spain you mentioned sound so romantic. Quality time is all about feeling close and present with each other. Maybe suggest recreating some of that intimacy at home - cosy dates in, slow mornings in bed together.
He cares about you and your relationship enough to communicate what he's needing. I'd take it as a good sign he trusts you enough to open up like that. Make sure you set aside some dedicated alone time so you can properly relax together. Sounds like you both need that. Hope you can find a way to make it work!
When im staying at home
Like today
We talk like hours
Like 2 hours talking
He said good night like 5 times haha and still we kept talking 1 more hour
Is that good sign for a guy
For sure, extended talking sessions over the phone is definitely a good sign!
Guys aren't usually one to chat for hours like that unless we're really into the person we're talking to. Two hours is like a movie length conversation!
And the fact he kept saying goodnight but sticking around even longer just shows he was enjoying your company and didn't want to stop hanging. We'll make excuses to keep a conversation going if a girl has us interested.
It means he finds you really easy to talk to, likes learning about you and your thoughts, and wants to connect on a deeper level than just surface stuff. Talking for that long is how people really get to know each other.
Plus if he was bored I'm sure he would've actually said goodbye lol. Nah sounds like he's definitely into hanging with you! As long as the convos stay cool I wouldn't worry, just have fun chatting with your dude! Seems like you're hitting it off.
When guys says :you are funny"
Is it positive?
like im not a clownish personality, but i do like ricky gervais sarcastic type of humour just like my boyfriend too.
But sometimes he says im funny because of things i say, like f. e. I love having tea, i dont drink coffee so i have like 10 different types of tea and he finds its funny and when i said: ok babe im gonna get me my green and white tea.
He laughed and said :how many colors of the tea you have? man you are funny with your teas
Like he finds it funny my tea obsession
Then we were talking about what each of us gonna eat for dinner
I said i already ate but stil a bit hungry, but i feel like im becoming a pie lover. so im not eating before sleep.
He again said "you are funny... pie lover, she says lol"
Do guys like when girls make them laugh?
Yeah, when a guy says you're funny, it's definitely a good thing! Making someone laugh shows you have a good sense of humor and can lighten the mood.
Guys definitely appreciate a girl who can keep them entertained and make them smile. It means hanging out with you is fun and enjoyable. When you said that stuff about your tea obsession and being a "pie lover", he probably thought the way you described it in your own quirky way was amusing.
Anytime I laugh at something a girl says or the way she says it, it shows me she's not taking herself too seriously. That kind of playful, sarcastic humor is attractive because it makes the interactions feel lighthearted. I'd say your boyfriend likes your funny personality - it keeps things lively between you!
As long as you're not like mocking him or something, I'm sure he appreciates your humorous side. Laughter is so important in a relationship. So yeah, keep making your boyfriend chuckle with your little witty comments! Guys definitely value a girl who can make them laugh.
Just genuinely enjoy each other’s company while maybe doing some kind of activity like a workout session or something like that instead of that immature middle school bullcrap where they force each other to feel in love when really they have no idea what they’re even doing.
