Why do guys bring up that they’ve dated models before, but I’m a model so why are they telling me that?

My guess is probably to make you feel like it’s not a big deal , that they are use to dating a model and that they don’t feel insecure and jealous from the attention she receives. Most beautiful girls’ get a lot of attention from Guy’s that are trying to get into her pants , and most girl’s hate when a guy is coming off as insecure and jealous towards her , she usually feels he doesn’t trust her. Most females hate that for whatever reason , Me personally thinks a partner being a little insecure and jealous is a good thing , it shows that person actually cares about you and doesn’t want to lose you , so I think it’s stupid when people get mad about that , if a partner isn’t getting jealous or insecure from time to time over you , that pretty much means that person doesn’t really give a fuck about what you do period , that’s the type of person you should be concerned about honestly , Now someone is overly insecure and jealous can be bad sign as well , but me personally would rather be in a relationship with someone that is a little Jealous and insecure , if shows that person cares about you in my opinion

They are trying to talk themselves up. They think it is a flex and you should be excited they showed you some attention.

Because they want you to think that they are successful with women, so you'll like them more. They probably think that you'll become interested in them if they let you know that girls who are as attractive as you are (other models) are already interested in them. They are letting you know that they are "on your level" dating wise.

I think it's called mimetic desire that they believe women have. They hold the belief that women want what other attractive women want. They also think it'll make them look like a "high quality" guy.

Not that any of this actually works on us though!
