Sometimes I would deliberately avoid interacting with some women around. They talk a lot, laugh a lot and I am just there to work.
Now if he completely ignores you and almost never looks back, that may be the case.

But if he looks at your side every now and then,, there are these glances towards you when in group,, he looks back almost every time you looks his side, then maybe he's attracted /tries to attract. A guy would become superly conscious unintentionally when around the girl he likes. He'll judge every movement or word before he does.. and would end up not doing any, fearing he sounds silly or stupid or you'll see him unauthentic.

Try and find something you'll have to discuss with him, most likely about work.. and deliberately ask for his opinion, a personal one if you can. Even when related to work, as in: In your experience, from your perspective.. and assure that point. See is he more worried or careless. And try to go from there.
