Whenever I’m about to walk into a room, and the guy I like he knows that there’s another guy in there and he immediately follows me into that room. I stepped into the room, see another guy in there and I look back and there’s the guy I like standing behind me, staring at the guy then at me. He doesn’t say anything just watching. I don’t understand why he does that? what does that mean?

It kinda sounds like this guy is pretty into you, and he's feeling a little protective too. When he sees some other dude in the room with you, he wants to make sure nothing happens I think.
Guys can get pretty territorial sometimes about girls they like. And following you in like that is his subtle way of staking his claim without being too obvious about it, if that makes sense. He's basically saying "hey I've got my eye on this guy, back off."
Staring down the other dude and keeping an eye on the situation shows he's looking out for you. It's like he's sending a message "she's mine" without having to say it. Guys get jealous sometimes, especially if we like a girl a lot.
I'd say don't be weirded out by it - take it as a compliment! It means he cares what you do and who you interact with. He wants to protect you and make sure other guys know you're not available. I'd say he's definitely into you if he's doing protective stuff like that.
He sounds like a psycho. He's not "protecting" you. He doesn't trust you and is acting aggressive toward any guy who is in the same room.
Men are protective of girls they like, get over it. It's natural.
