in my experience, my boyfriend has talked about me to his guy and girl friends equally. sometimes he would rant to them about me or even just mention me to them. at this point, his friends know who i am and my friends know who he is and what our relationship status is.

he's very sweet about it, subtle too sometimes.

not every boyfriend does this, though. there are boyfriends out there who simply don't talk about their partner at all to others.

that's also why i said in my experience, because he's literally my long term boyfriend. i guess there was an incident i remember where my long term friend talked to our other friend about how much he liked me and that friend told me. so i guess if they like you, then there's a possibility they might speak about you to someone else
