Do guys like to confuse girls so they will keep talking to them?

Why does he like to confuse me in our conversations? Kinda like I ask questions and he gives confusing answers, so I have to keep asking questions to understand his confusing answers. And it keeps getting more confusing as the conversation continues until I finally just get so frustrated that I stop talking to him...
What is going on here?

Absolutely, especially if they aren’t looking for anything serious. If he isn’t giving you a direct answer and is just dancing around your questions, chances are he is just playing games with you for his own benefit

But the thing is, that the relationship is work related.. I don't understand why if I ask a question, and he answers it, and then I ask a question to further understand the answer , he will start to add more detail to his original answer but it's more confusing then the original answer.. does that make sense?

@asker yes. He may be adding more detail because his original answer is a lie. Obviously making assumptions but generally but I said from the beginning usually goes

I get it now, he just doesn't know wtf he is taking about, but wants to appear like he knows what he's talking about, so he trying to confuse me so I don't question it..

If someone can't give you a direct answer don't keep asking, just forget it and move on.
