"it's cool" means "it's cool".

I know it's very confusing. It's like learning a new language, when the language you were used to means the complete opposite:

Nothing:

Guy: Nothing

Womanese: Something is bothering me, but I don't feel comfortable just telling you what it is because that would make me feel like an attention/comfort seeking emotionally needy selfish brat.. so instead I'm hoping we spend the next hour or so having you try and probe through questions you will ask me to try and figure out what's wrong.. this will make me feel like you care about me.. but since it's taken so much time for you to do that.. you will then make the mistake of thinking whatever was wrong needs solving so that it will never happen again.. so you may do something stupid like offer me advice or try and solve my problem.. and I will more than likely take it personally and then be angry at you

I think you get the point. When a guy speaks, he means what he says, and he says what he means.

Don't do the mistake of thinking HE things the way YOU think. This is how guys and girls miscommunicate! Can you imagine how many misunderstandings there would be if HE thoughts what you said is what you actually meant?!?! And to add to that, if you thought that there was MORE or some hidden meaning or motive behind what he said instead of it meaning exactly "literally" what he said?!?!?

Seriously.. when a guy says something.. that's EXACTLY & "Literally" what he means; words for word, letter by letter. How we think is how we speak. It's nearly impossible for us to think one thing and say an other. That's why women make much better actresses than men make actors.

In guy speak, 'it's cool' usually means ITS COOL .. It's not like with most girls. We say one thing, but mean a completely other thing. Also, him saying 'it's cool' depends on it's context. Why did he say it & why is it so confusing for you?
