There's a guy on the internet who's totally obsessed with me. We've been chatting for months, and I really want him to erase all the info about me from his memory. He doesn't even know my real name or phone number, but I can't shake off this worry that he'll never forget the conversations we had. Am I being paranoid?

Hmm that does sound a little weird and creepy. I get why you'd be worried, even if he doesn't know private stuff. Some dudes online can be really intense. As long as he doesn't have any real info on you like photos or private messages, it might be okay. But your feelings are valid too. Maybe just be more careful chatting with people you don't know IRL. If he's really obsessed, limiting contact could help him move on. Trust your gut - if he's making you uncomfortable, don't feel bad setting clear boundaries or blocking him. Your safety and privacy are what's important. Don't feel silly talking to someone you trust about it too if it worries you a lot. Better safe than sorry!
brains don't just delete shit like a computer, it's possible for that info to get lost in all the info juice but it's up there, to answer your question tho, weither it's paranoia or not all depends on why you are so worried about this person, you must have seen or heard something about him that has you behaving paranoid.
Ummm…. Why did you chat with him for so long?
