I've been talking to a guy long distance and for our 2nd date he is planning a short trip as a surprise. What does this mean?

We are both in our 30's but he said he wants a relationship too, I dont know if he wants sex only or what he wants when he said he'd take us on a quick trip around my area. We are talking and are both Long Distance. Please help! Thank you :)

Does he know what YOU want? Have you made that clear? I'm not sure how you are connecting him wanting sex to him taking you on a short trip around the area? That makes no sense. What do you mean by you are 'both long distance'?

well I am just honestly not sure, he could want a relationship but the right question would be does he want a relationship with me and is a man who is serious about you going to ask you to go on a staycation without expecting sex? I won't have sex until I am in a relationship and I will let him know that it's just I have never been asked to go on a trip so soon and without the boyfriend/girlfriend title.
