How to move on after being used?

I got used by a guy who admitted he was using me till he found someone else. He said he’s not a user and doesn’t use people just used me because I was easy.

First, determine if you would mind being used by others. If you would not mind then nothing is needed - go out and get to it.

But if you do not want to be used by others you need to start holding people to standards. You don't need to get transactional but certianly require evidence of good faith before being generous.

What has helped me move on from pain are some meditative processes, and controlled breathing during cold showers (having a cardiovascular system which can handle the temperature transition).
