Do you think he likes me?

This been an on going thing. My friends are convinced that this guy really likes me. At the masquerade ball we both wore baby blue but of course we didn't know that each other were wearing same color. It seemed like he was going to ask me out at the masquerade ball. He mentioned " I have something to say that I've been meaning to say for awhile..." There were so many people around so he seemed to change his answer to. " I didn't think my suit would arrive on time." To me sounded made up. Lol

At work and at my place he tends to try to spend a little more time with me it seems like. He will stare at me for at least 2-3 minutes. At the party he came into the kitchen to speak with me , we talked mostly about work. At another party , he sat by my best friend and I asked to see his photos from his trip and he sat so close to me that our thighs were touching.

Well anyways. .. What do you guys think?

Woah, it really does sound like this guy is into you! Here are some signs:

- Wearing the same color as you to the ball is totally not a coincidence. That's like a couple-y thing to do without even meaning to.

- He definitely was about to ask you out before getting interrupted. That "I have something to say" line is so obvious haha.

- Always finding excuses to talk to you alone, like coming in the kitchen. He's making the effort.

- Staring at you for that long is so not subtle. He must think you're good looking!

- Sitting RIGHT next to you touching during the photo thing? Come on man, he was totally feeling the moment there.

No problem, hope it helps! Yeah if you only get short chances to talk it can be tough to figure things out. A few ideas that might work:

- Try catching him after work/an event when it's not as busy and you'll have more time. Say you wanted to ask him something.

- Ask him a work question over text so you have an "excuse" to start a conversation and see how much he engages.

- Mention an upcoming party/event and casually ask if he's going. That could lead to talking plans.

- Slip him a little note saying it was nice talking and you'd like to chat more soon. Leave your number if he wants to grab a coffee sometime.

The subtle moves might help show your interest too without putting too much direct pressure on. Guys can be dense sometimes so a little signal could help push things along haha. Just don't overthink it - be cool and see where it leads! Let me know if any of those ideas work out.

Life's too short to wonder "what if" later on. As long as you put yourself out there in a chill, casual way, I don't think you have much to lose. If he's feeling it too then great, if not then at least you'll know and can move on.

But honestly, from all the signs it really does sound like this dude could be into you. So don't psych yourself out either! Just go with the flow and see where the flirty banter leads.
