we we're talking about diabetes with a colleague, and I said that I am surprised that I don't have it given that its becoming prevalent. then he all of sudden grabbed my leg and he said that I can wrap my entire hand around your leg.. then he noticed that I looked disgusted that he just grabbed my leg while talking so he later apologized. Was not he being rude?

Yes he was rude an inappropriate. That said, I think the point he was making is that type 2 diabetes is directly related to being overweight, and you aren't. Again, definitely rude and inappropriate, but I think thoughtless rather than creepy.

Diabetes has more to it than being prevalent. It usually comes with primarily genetic disposition, then secondarily excess sugar, obese, and older age.
