I'm 28. Guys don't ever make eye contact with me. Guys never talk to me. My male neighbors never even greet hi to me. I feel like I'm always being ignored by guys. Nobody checks me out. If I never make go out of my way to talk to a guy, they would never notice me. But its hard to try to talk to a guy who wouldn't even make eye contact with you. Am I just unattractive?

women are very nice to me though. they talk to me without me ever having to try to talk to them. they don't avoid eye contact.

Guys have been given very mixed messages when it comes to how to approach women in public and been publicly shamed for misreading situations. I’ll give a quick smile, or hold a door if someone is right behind me (I’ve been told off for holding a door too long), otherwise it’s just not worth the possibility of someone making a scene.

Guys do not approach women that look like they do not want to be approached. Guys do not like rejection anymore then women. And Guys are not going to approach women generally unless a woman has signaled him in some way her wanting to be approached.

You never know, it could be a bit in your head as well.. Maybe you don't look approachable to men at all.. You give off a certain feelings or look.. Or maybe you just don't look like anything special enough for them to pay attention.. Or maybe you could be pretty, but they're just being careful..

Maybe you just look boring. It isn't the same as ugly. I'm ugly so I know. I stand out. People stare as though I were a free-roaming pig in an urban environment.
Girls value boring as they don't consider it competition, while at the same time not actively hurting their reputation. Guys wouldn't be interested though, generally.
