It totally depends upon person to person and his personality traits
In my case i was badly in love with a girl. Due to which I started studying and did my MBA
Due to study I became a more intelligent and had C. Ronaldo as my role model, which just changed my personality
After few years when I looked her I don't regret not getting her
But today times have changed people purposefully pray for someone breakup, and consider love as just bed stunts
So it depends upon person to person
Boys will never forget a relationship, thats why they need much longer to get over a heartbreak.
Is that boyfriend just some stand in?
