Why do guys text you first and then ignore your reply?

Well for one a lot of men aren’t glued to their phone like women. Especially when it comes to responding to messages. We usually don’t sit around waiting on a girl to reply like our life depends on it. I think men tend to understand more that life happens, she may be busy. Women on the other hand hang on by a shoestring waiting for him to text. Like his phone is glued to his hand. Some may be, but not always. Or it could be that he’s just not as serious about you as you think he is. Maybe you’re an option.

Most people these days are just bad texters, methinks. If he does this consistently, I’d just stop talking to him.
