My boyfriend wants to meet my male colleague friend?

Before I met my boyfriend, I’d occasionally go out with my male colleague. Now that I’m with my boyfriend I don’t, however he still calls me.

My boyfriend is a little insecure and said he wants to meet him. Would it be weird to ask to meet outside of work considering we don’t do that anymore? Or should I just ask for a meet up?
